It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but rather the one most adaptable to change
-Charles Darwin-
Change is inevitable. The environment in which we live today is subject to constant change which affects almost every aspect of our lives, whether it be financially, economically, socially, politically, morally or physically.
A person may be physically strong or even very smart, but that may not be enough to allow an individual to cope in changing times. It is dependent on how well you can respond to these occurrences and still be able to live a healthy and normal life. The awareness and acceptance of changes, as well as making adjustments, will allow you to function as your best self with the advantage to fit comfortably in any given situation.
You can be strong and intelligent, but if you are not ready to accept the existence of change, then you may never find a solution to handle these unfamiliar happenings. Refusing to respond to change will somehow cause stress which affects your mental and physical health. These negative effects, in the long run, can affect your ability to survive.
A major pandemic is still upon us which brings about massive changes to how businesses and people must function in order to survive. There will be many more changes to come. You survive not only by strength and wisdom, but by being aware, accepting and adjusting yourself in such a way to mitigate the risk and effects it may have on your life.
such a great quote! with all the things happening now we can only adapt to change.
Jeannie,
Yes...adaptation is key especially in these times
So true and insightful. Many people mis quote and misunderstand Charles Darwin's quote on surviva of the fittest. You have nailed it here. Hurrah.
Apocalypse,
Thanks....I am deeply moved by inspiration and the power of words. I try my best to understand them and apply and live accordingly.
Ahhh, love this! Being open and flexible to change has been a lofty goal that I've made for myself over the past year. It's definitely difficult at times, but I can absolutely understand how it is imperative when living an abundant and aligned life. Thank you for sharing <3
Taylor,
You are welcome. It's a great goal...keep it up!
More important than ever to be able to adapt to change. Some people are very resistant to change but the pandemic hasn't let anyone off the hook. You hit the nail on the head, being aware is the key!
Naomi,
Yup! It's the sad truth...we will have to start and continue making changes to adjust accordingly, but first, we have to be aware of what is taking place
