Your direction is moreimportant than your speed

Speed is becoming more and more favorable these days… It’s the fact that everyone wants to get things done in order to see results faster. It’s also the association with being more efficient in a society that is becoming more fast-paced and forward-focused. There is certainly nothing wrong with speed, working at a faster rate, or even outdoing yourself so as to quickly achieve your goals. It’s just way better to take your time and be certain than to be flying down a rabbit hole and struggling to find your way back when it’s probably already too late.
Speeding without direction is however pointless. Direction involves having knowledge of where you’re heading. It is also the path taken, normally with guidance or instructions to reach a specific destination or obtain a particular outcome. Going at a faster rate brings about uncertainties and the possibility of failing to see or become aware of things that might be of importance along the path you are on.
Direction is of great importance as it merely offers guided instructions to ensure you make it to your destination. The preferred end goal or the desired outcome is not how fast u can go, but so as long as you end up exactly where you need to be. The road to success is filled with detours and speed bumps. It is therefore imperative that the majority of the time be focused on planning in order to determine the most suitable route.
Undoubtedly, direction creates room for you to pay attention to details and also allows you to take corrective actions from earlier out before any slip-ups made become irreparable. In today’s society, it may seem counterproductive to take things easy. Whether you choose to speed or take it slow, direction has to be integrated.
Journey with care upon whichever path you choose, use direction wisely, become aware of unfamiliar territories and give yourself enough room to accurately decide the next steps to keep you on that chosen path.
Don’t rush if you don’t need to… just keep going. Chances are you will eventually reach your intended destination.
